Google Nest Hub second-generation is on sale

The Google Nest Hub (2nd Gen)is a do-it-all smart home hub with a sunrise alarm, a rich-sounding speaker, and a 7-inch touchscreen display that can control your entire smart home.

Control your smart home with the Google Nest Hub

The second-generation Google Nest Hub looks similar to the Gen 1, but the newer version adds gestures, sleep tracking, and better-sounding speakers into the mix. You’ll get the same 7-inch touchscreen that displays at 1024 x 600, but Google included three microphones in this model for better-sounding calls and Google Assistant reliability.

The second-gen has a more refined design than the original Google Nest Hub, and it comes in four colorways, including chalk, charcoal, sand, and sky.

The 7-inch display is perfect for viewing weather details, timers, recipes, your schedule, photos, and smart home controls. With the Google Nest Hub, you can control smart bulbs, smart light strips, thermostats, smart switch, and other smart devices right on the screen.

Our only complaint is that the second-gen model lacks a camera. If you use your Google smart home hub to make video calls, you’ll want to take a pass on this model and go for the Google Max Hub instead.

The Google Nest Hub supports Google Maps, Netflix, YouTube Music, Apple Music, Spotify, Google Calendar, and Google Photos, as well as other streaming apps and services.
